From the very scratch! Our life near the arctic circle is somewhat influenced by rougher conditions, shorter yet more extreme growing cycles and a very special diversity of natural thriving, delicious food.

We love to combine these resources with known or new creative dishes from our own heritage. With this we aim to fusion the best of the Swedish/Nordic food culture with our own and to continuously create new, exciting food experiences both for palate and all senses.

Still we keep a close eye on spoiling our guests with a luscious, varied offering of dishes that are well-balanced, healthy and tailored to the season.

More, it is highly important to us not only to work with mostly regional and high quality produce, but to operate the entire gastronomy and food area sustainable, keep food waste as low as possible, yet meet the wishes and requirements of our guests in a creative way.

This has been our credo for almost 10 years!

Our suppliers in the Vindelfjäll region and the neighbouring Norrbotten Län provide us with meat, fish, dairy, local vegetables, beverages and beer. We grow our own herbs in the backyard of Sandsjögården. Berries, eatable greens/flowers and mushrooms grow naturally in our near surrounding.
